Raj Sharma is a 25 year member of the Toronto Real Estate Board.
Raj obtained his Real Estate Salesperson License in 2004 after having worked for his father, who is also a Licensed a Realtor, of more than 35 years – that was just when the Real Estate Industry started using typewriters to prepare offers, instead of ACTUAL cutting and pasting of pieces of paper to make a full document! Raj was typing and preparing offers at 13 when other kids were out playing in the mud (and there’s nothing wrong with playing in the mud as a kid!). He had offer clauses memorized and could recite, word for word, all the main offer clauses. These days, most agents just cut and paste on the screen whereas Raj was typing out each word. It was like learning ‘wax on and wax off’ for becoming a Realtor!
After working for many years with a few mentors, including his own father as one of them, Raj decided to branch out and open an independent Brokerage – Grand Vista Realty Inc. Prior to this, Raj was licensed with the Sutton Group, Re/Max and Century 21 brands. Times have changed – with the advent of online searching, giving the consumer more power to understand market activity on their own, the consumer is less interested in the big realty brands.
